Meet Amandine

Hey, I’m Amandine!

I tutor children from Year 1 to Year 6 in Maths, English, Science and all KS1 and KS2 curriculum subjects and teach French up to GCSE.

I love working with children and developing positive relationships with students of all levels and abilities. It is really important to me to empower all my students to enjoy their learning. I believe firmly in the importance of helping my students to develop a growth mindset and embrace mistakes as an essential part of learning. I plan creative and engaging activities that allow for active learning, praise effort and also encourage students to develop their critical thinking skills.

I have five years of experience as a KS2 classroom teacher (including Y6 SATs preparation) where I enjoyed teaching across a rich and broad curriculum. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in Arts Funding and Policy in different roles at Arts Council England.
