Hey, I’m Rhiannon!
I am the Chief Chatter at Tutor In A Box. I coordinate bookings, make phone calls to our lovely parents, send emails, manage our social media, and so much more!
I enjoy being the Chief Chatter because I love talking to people and helping them, which I’m lucky enough to do (or at least try to do) every day!
I feel very strongly about us supporting students to access the curriculum and giving them the attention that they just can’t get in school. Having previously worked in schools supporting students with additional needs, I know how difficult it is!
Rhiannon is a Qualified Tutor – having completed the Level 3 Award in Education and Training course ran by Julia Silver BA, QTS, NPQH. The course consisted of five workshops – covering key ideas in Safeguarding, Building Relationships, Teaching and Leaning, Special Educational Needs and Mental Health, and Powerful Feedback.
And some other important questions…
- What’s your background? I am in my final year of a History degree with The Open University which I do full-time while working part-time. I have experience working in schools and especially supporting students with SEND.
- What’s in your fridge? Lots of Iced Coffee and Coke Zero, then plenty of random ingredients, but nothing that seems to make a meal!
- What are your hobbies? I love spending time with friends and family, reading, watching TV, and going for walks.
- What is a fun fact about you? I have lived overseas, on 3 different continents, for 15 years!
